Natural Disasters, A Muslim’s Duty
Recent hurricanes, earthquakes and cyclones are reported to have been most devastating within the last decades. These natural disasters become the means for the death of a great number of human beings. So many assets, possessions and structures are destroyed. Our religion Islam instructs us to honor our parents, with great emphasis towards our mothers during every moment of our lives. It is not only one day of the year wherein we should display this honor, respect and attention. Almighty Allah says: "And do good to parents" (Holy Quran 4:36) "And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honor. And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: "My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was small" (Holy Quran 17:23 & 24)

However he shortly thereafter realizes that what he was told is not true but it was rather a joke. According to the Shariah is it permissible to play such practical jokes on people?
Easter is celebrated by Catholic Christians to commemorate the crucifixion of the Prophet Jesus Alayhis-Salâm. The death of Jesus on the cross is the basis of all Christian theology – it is the basis for their belief in ‘god’ and the concept of sin and atonement. Christians believe that following the crucifixion; Jesus was given a new life in the form of God. This is why during Easter we see eggs that are symbolic of new life and resurrection. The rabbit is also a sign of fertility and new life.
Rabi'ul-Awwal is the most significant month in the Islamic history, because humanity has been blessed in this month by the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam. Before the birth of the Holy Prophet, Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam, not only the Arabian peninsula, but also the so-called civilized nations of Rome and Persia were drowned in the darkness of ignorance, superstitions, oppression and unrest.
