Representatives and members of the Jami'yyah CCMT participated in an Ulama program conducted by visiting scholar Shaikh Mufti Rafee Usmani of Pakistan on Sunday 25th of November, 2007. The program was held in Masjid Huzaifa, Scarborough, Ontario. Participants benifited form the Shaikh's advices.
The Shaikh amongst other points encouraged the Ulama to:

Continue to increase in knowledge and professionalism. Never to be content in knowledge

Serve the ummah / humanity

Conduct sermons and speeches in accordance to needs and concerns of the congregations / commmunities

Enhance onself spiritualy (tazkiyah)
Shaikh Mufti Rafee Usmani was also pleased to hear the services of the Jami'yyah CCMT.
